At Boston’s Berklee College of Music, Annette is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Berklee Indian Ensemble, a viral phenomenon with over 300 million views. In 2023, the Ensemble’s debut album, “Shuruaat,” was nominated for a Grammy for Best Global Music Album. Besides performances with several legends, including A.R. Rahman, Bill Whelan, Nona Hendryx, and Zakir Hussain, Annette has spent over a decade touring the globe with the internationally acclaimed vocal quartet Women of the World, disruptors in the a cappella world, singing in 37 languages and counting.
In all she does, including her songwriting duo, Tigs & Nettles, as well as “keeping it light” in her powerful online reflection series, Annette’s message of self-love, dreaming big, bold resilience, and kindness are the foundation.
